KITT, the Night Rider car, was "stolen" from outside Union Station in Toronto this week during a publicity event for the new show. There is of course speculation that it was stolen as a publicity stunt (A publicity stunt, within a publicity stunt? Amazing). Not sure who's right on this one, but as one person points out in the comments the streets are obviously closed, so in other words there must have been a police blocade somewhere to stop traffic. Would love to see the video where KITT plows through a cop-car... Or, more likely, where the "robber" gets out, signs some autographs and walks to his trailer.

Stolen or not, great marketing.
